Each interpreter is chosen for their knowledge, language combinations, fluency, personality and suitability for the required project. We know and understand that putting together the right ‘person package’ promotes a relaxed atmosphere in which to conduct business negotiations, conferences, meetings etc.

Types of interpreting:

Ad hoc or liaison interpreting - Liaison interpreting involves passing information between two or more people. This type of interpreting is used for smaller meetings and discussion groups, where maybe a dozen or so people meet and the ad hoc interpreter with his or her linguistic skills acts as a go-between.

Conference interpreting - Conference interpreting involves simultaneous interpreting where interpreter speaks while at the same time listens to and comprehends the next sentence. This type of interpreting is usually provided over headphones at events such as large conferences and broadcasts.

Consecutive interpreting - The interpreter translates after the speaker pauses, usually every 1-3 minutes after a paragraph, allowing the interpreter to relay the translation to the audience. This method of interpreting is usually used in small formal and informal meetings.
